Welcome to the website of St. Vincent’s N.S., Coolarne, Turloughmore, Co. Galway. We would like to thank you for taking the time to explore our website. Our new crest design expresses our school mission along with reflecting our locality and our history using landscape, symbols and colours.
It also symbolizes our inclusive ethos here in St. Vincent’s N.S.
- The Swans represent the Sisters of St. Vincent de Paul.
- The Path symbolizes our avenue and the various paths in life.
- Sloe Bushes growing locally are symbolic of the area. The Blackthorn is a food source for many insects, birds and butterflies.
- The Two Turloughs are symbolic of the area.
- The Three Tangible symbols represent school life:
- Book symbolizes reading and learning new things.
- G Clef symbolizes music and recreation.
- Hurls symbolize physical activity and wellbeing.
These are the specific images we have chosen best represent our school.
It also features our school motto on “Ar aghaidh linn le chéile”
