Our School Ethos
St. Vincent’s N.S. is a co-educational Catholic Primary School which strives to promote a happy, healthy and safe teaching and learning environment for pupils, staff and the school community.
Our Catholic ethos is a lived and daily experience of the Gospel values of Unity, Respect, Joy, Love and Courage and it permeates every aspect of our school life.
Our aim within this context is that all members of our school community embrace these values and show care for one another and beyond.
We foster and nurture positive relationships between pupils, staff, parents, Board of Management and the wider community whereby a feeling of being accepted and connected to the school environment is valued.
We are a welcoming and inclusive community that is respectful and tolerant of all religious traditions and beliefs.
It is our vision that every child in our school will be given the opportunity to develop his/her interests and abilities to explore the world and engage in lifelong learning.
