Breakfast Club Preschool and After School
Forever Friends Preschool & Afterschool Service
Forever Friends Preschool and Afterschool Service is a purpose-built childcare service located at St. Vincent's National School. Established in 2018, the service is privately owned and managed by Cora Concannon, who has over 20 years' experience running her own early years education service, Forever Friends.
Cora holds a Level 8 Honours Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and is a qualified Inclusion Coordinator. She is passionate about providing a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
Services
The service offers a range of flexible options designed to support children and families throughout the school day.
Our Breakfast Club runs daily from 8:00am to 9:00am, giving children a calm and happy start to their day. Our Preschool Programme, suitable for children from 2.5 years, operates from 9:00am to 2:00pm and provides a play-based learning experience that supports children's early development and school readiness.
Our Afterschool Service caters for junior classes from 1:40pm to 2:40pm, with extended care available for all classes from 2:40pm to 6:00pm. Children are welcomed with a healthy snack, supported with homework, and enjoy outdoor play and a variety of structured and creative activities throughout the afternoon.
Access & Inclusion
At Forever Friends, we place a strong emphasis on inclusion. We warmly welcome children with additional needs and work closely with families and the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) team to ensure appropriate supports are put in place. A formal diagnosis is not required for a child to receive additional support, and we focus on supporting each child's individual strengths and needs.

Special Events
We also believe in creating lasting memories. Each year we celebrate our preschoolers with an end-of-year graduation, organise a school trip to Turoe Pet Farm, and offer Easter and Summer Camps for preschool-aged children.

Learning & Daily Activities
Our daily activities are based on free play, Aistear, and Montessori-inspired activities, supporting children's learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
We spend a large portion of our day outdoors, making full use of our covered outdoor classroom as well as a grassed play area, allowing children to learn, play, and explore in all weather conditions.
We regularly record observations and photographs of your child, which are shared weekly via the TeachKloud app. This is a free additional service provided to parents, helping you stay informed and involved in your child's development and progression throughout the year.
Above all, Forever Friends is a place where children feel happy, confident, and supported as they learn, play, and grow.
